We are based in the stunning Monmouthshire countryside, our office (the fields!) have views to die for and change from beautiful to even more beautiful with the seasons. We bought a rundown farm in 2016 that had not been farmed for a good few years, we are slowly getting barns refurbished, fences renewed and grass enriched. The farm is almost 50 acres stocked with animals we love. Alpacas were our first love and Usk Valley Alpacas is our herd name with a growing reputation and awards to match for our black and grey animals. Our Valais Blacknose Sheep then came along and took our hearts, friendly, nosey and beautiful, these Swiss beauties are a pleasure to own and farm and we love them.
Finally came our Miniature Mediterranean Donkeys, small (32 inches), super friendly and just fun to be around. Our collection was complete with what we believe to be the best animals around by any measure. Our ethos on them all is the same, healthy, happy animals first, breed quality second and enjoyment third, we are doing well on all three. Our journey continues every year, we consider ourselves lucky to share our lives with these lovely animals, every day is different and every day we live the dream.
